Development/Grants: Institutional Relations Associate

Institutional Relations Associate:  George Street Playhouse, a LORT C Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ and EOE seeks an experienced professional grant writer to implement strategies for securing and growing institutional support for $4.3 million company's acclaimed mainstage and educational programming.  

Qualifications include:   Demonstrated measurable success in grant writing and reporting for non-profit organization; Excellent written communication and organizational skills; Ability to manage and accomplish multiple projects at a time, meet deadlines and to thrive in a demanding fast-paced environment; Some weekend and evening hours required.

Box Office Sales Associates

George Street Playhouse seeks part-time Box Office Sales Associates. Ideal candidates for the position are computer savvy and customer service oriented. Prior experience in box office a plus. Position entails: answering phones, filing, processing ticket orders, and other duties as necessary. Afternoon, evening and weekend shifts available. Volunteer Ushers

Our volunteers assist the front of house staff by welcoming patrons, assisting patrons to their seats, handing out programs, and assisting at the concessions counter. At curtain time, you can sit back and enjoy the show! Teaching Artists

George Street Playhouse, a LORT C producing theatre in New Brunswick, New Jersey seeks professionally experienced and dependable theatre teaching artists for expanding residency programs.  Candidates must have interest and passion for working with children.  Teaching Artists must be available for work in K-12 classrooms from September through June, attend all scheduled curriculum and professional development meetings, and have reliable transportation.  We are currently seeking acting, directing, playwriting, and musical theatre teaching artists with experience integrating theatre arts in core curriculum classrooms.  Bilingual and teaching artists of color encouraged to apply.  Bachelors or Masters required.  Application deadline: rolling.  Please send resume and letter of interest to Jim Jack, Director of Education and Outreach at jjack@georgestplayhouse.org.
