Volunteer Ushers
Our volunteers assist the front of house staff by welcoming patrons, assisting patrons to their seats, handing out programs, and assisting at the concessions counter. At curtain time, you can sit back and enjoy the show! Teaching Artists
George Street Playhouse, a LORT C producing theatre in New Brunswick, New Jersey seeks professionally experienced and dependable theatre teaching artists for expanding residency programs. Candidates must have interest and passion for working with children. Teaching Artists must be available for work in K-12 classrooms from September through June, attend all scheduled curriculum and professional development meetings, and have reliable transportation. We are currently seeking acting, directing, playwriting, and musical theatre teaching artists with experience integrating theatre arts in core curriculum classrooms. Bilingual and teaching artists of color encouraged to apply. Bachelors or Masters required. Application deadline: rolling.
