Lit from within and fueled by the passion of their creator, Mark Rothko’s Seagrams Murals” are powerful paintings of crimson, maroon and black that were intended to hang in a building designed by architectural titans. But when a new assistant enters his studio, Rothko finds himself reconsidering the future of his paintings as he is confronted by the rise of the next generation.
The award-winning Broadway play by John Logan, screenwriter of the movies Any Given Sunday, Sweeney Todd and the current blockbuster Hugo, as well as his landmark play Never the Sinner.
