“Somebody should do something. Something is going to happen if we don’t!”
What happens when someone is pushed too far? When a new student, Cue, finds herself choosing between friendships with the popular Tad and the ridiculed Barrett, she winds up in the middle of a volatile situation. Adult role models and a stimulating sound design of popular music support the personal challenges that these students face. In Between teaches young people that they have options; that they possess the courage needed to affect change in their own lives and in the lives of others. Written by Princeton University professor R.N. Sandberg, In Between serves as a responsible catalyst for in-school discussions around peer disrespect, self-esteem, and bullying.
Appropriate for Grades 6-8 Length: 70 minutes (Includes performance and post-play workshop)
