Teen Conservatory June 25 – July 6 (2 weeks)
Teen Conservatory will focus on the fun, transformative process of bringing a character fully to life. Students will develop acting, movement, and vocal techniques as they explore monologues, scenes, and original material.

Musical Theatre: Young M Company July 9 – August 3 (4 weeks)
Designed to celebrate the imagination and creativity of young theatre students, Young M Company explores the joys of musical theatre through the creation, rehearsal and performance of an original musical. Starting with dynamic source material, students will work with professional musical directors, composers, and choreographers to develop the characters, write the lyrics and book, and compose an original score for their musical. Young M Company provides the young, musical theatre artist with a unique opportunity to develop their singing, dancing and acting skills through the creation and performance of an original work. This program culminates in a fully produced performance with lights, sets, and costumes on George Street Playhouse’s mainstage.

Play Production: Young Company July 9– August 3 (4 weeks)
Inspired by GSP’s mainstage commitment to developing new plays, Young Company explores the fun, exciting process of how to develop and produce a new, original play. Guided by our professional directors, playwrights and designers, Young Company will create the characters, develop the script, build the sets, design costumes, and perform the show. Young Company provides a unique opportunity for students to learn the foundations of acting and theatre production by creating an original play performed with lights, sets, and costumes on George Street Playhouse’s mainstage.
