Whether you're new to the stage or returning after years away, Adult Acting & Improv is designed for people who want to build real skills in a warm, low-pressure environment. Over ten weeks, students explore the fundamentals of acting and improvisation through hands-on exercises, scene work, and collaborative play — no prior experience necessary

Expect to laugh, take risks, and leave each week having connected with people who share your curiosity.

Led by actor Antu Yacob, this class is ideal for anyone looking to build confidence, sharpen improvisational thinking, and enjoy a genuinely social creative outlet.

INSTRUCTOR: Chad Colacurcio

Does your child sing, dance, and act their way through the living room or the school hallway? This class gives young performers—first-timers and seasoned stage kids—a place to build real skills in singing, acting, and Broadway-style dance. Students will grow their confidence and stage presence, culminating in a final sharing where they get to show off everything they've learned in front of you, their friends and family.

Scholarships are available for those who qualify. To apply for a scholarship, please email education@georgestplayhouse.org. Applicants will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
