Have a child who can't help but sing, dance, and act around the home or at school? George Street Playhouse offers a theater education class just for them! We believe that in addition to building core skills, arts education promotes community amongst students, expands their worldview, and gives everyone an opportunity to experience the transformative power of theater!

Youth Acting and Musical Theater

Spring Session: September 19 - November 22
Saturdays 10AM to 12PM (10 sessions)
INSTRUCTOR: Chad Colacurcio

Does your child sing, dance, and act their way through the living room or the school hallway? This class gives young performers—first-timers and seasoned stage kids—a place to build real skills in singing, acting, and Broadway-style dance. Students will grow their confidence and stage presence, culminating in a final sharing where they get to show off everything they've learned in front of you, their friends and family.

Hi students! Chad here, GSP Musical Theatre instructor! I’m delighted to see many returning faces and excited to meet our new students! During these sessions we’ll be working on singing techniques, dancing, movement, and voice, all through the lens of musical theater. At GSP we foster a collaborative experience, working together, resulting in a finale showcase of Frozen Jr. I look forward to seeing everyone in class!
